Originally from Panama, I've called several corners of Latin America home before landing in the U.S. to study at SCAD. Those years of crossing borders and immersing myself in different cultures didn't just shape my perspective; they taught me that the best design transcends language. It connects. It resonates. It shines.

The Paper Plate That Changed Everything
A few years ago, a group of friends gave me a handwritten award on a paper plate: "Most Likely to Brighten Up Your Day." I didn't see myself that way at the time, but I kept it. When life felt uncertain and my confidence wavered, that little piece of paper became my reminder: to show up, to shine bright, even when it's hard.

I earned my MFA from Full Sail University and spent 18 years there teaching and creating alongside talented students and faculty. Over my 26 years in the industry, I've had the honor of designing books, art directing campaigns, teaching the next generation of creatives, and building brands from the ground up.
